The Maze Runner Movie Review
Okay, so I must first say this- Thomas, Newt, and Minho: The Golden Trio. Second, it is an amazing adaptation, so if you were having any doubts about if you should see it or not, just go and see it; there will be no regrets. Thirdly, it was just amazing.
The way that this movie was amazing was amazing in the same way that if i stay was amazing, it was extremely true to the idea. With Divergent I feel like they were true to scenes, but weren't true to the book and it's ideas; therefore, it wasn't nearly as good of an adaptation. Like if i stay, The Maze Runner was true to the idea and feels of it, and just had scenes changed, left out, or added (all of which were fine, or good). The Fault in Our Stars was a good adaptation because of how it was almost exactly in line with all of the scenes, and was extremely true to the feels; I didn't like to the book but that adaptation was perfect.
I recommend this to fans of Divergent, The Hunger Games, Shatter Me, and almost all dystopias/ thrillers.
